WHITE MOUNTAIN COOKING SCHOOL DATES,
RATES & GRATE FUN
Go
from being a good cook to a gourmet chef in a weekend at the Snowvillage Inn’s White Mountain Cooking School.
Weekend cooking classes begin on Friday evenings. Class participants are
welcome to arrive at the inn any time after 2 pm. Shortly after arrival, expect a welcome tour of the
kitchen at which time you will meet Chef Laurel and familiarize yourself with
the kitchen layout. Following a fine candlelight dinner on Friday evening,
Innkeeper Kevin and Chef Laurel will host a small gathering on the Inn’s front porch or in front of the fireplace. All
participants will all enjoy a chocolate fondue while discussing the next day’s
itinerary. Menus and course descriptions will be distributed at this time and
any last minute questions or requests can be addressed.
Saturday’s
class will commence after breakfast at approximately 10:00 am. Class participants will be assigned
tasks and instructed individually by Laurel.
The class will end with a late lunch prepared entirely by the class and
accompanied by wines selected by Kevin. Following lunch the class will be free
to explore the surrounding Mount
Washington Valley
or rest up for a gourmet dinner on Saturday night. After breakfast on Sunday
the class will again convene in the Inn’s
kitchen for the final day of instruction. The weekend will culminate in a
delicious lunch prepared by the class and served in the dining room.
Rates for the White Mountain
Cooking School
start at $349 per person/double occupancy. The rate includes two nights lodging
in the best available room, two dinners, two breakfasts, reception fondue and
after-dinner drinks on Friday. The 8% tax and 15% service charge are
additional. Classes are held to a maximum of eight participants to ensure
individual attention. Rates for non-participating traveling companions are $100
less.
